CONTIKI 2011

Just got back from a 29 day Contiki tour around Europe, definitely one of  the best experiences of my life. There were 41 of us 18/19 year olds as well as our bus driver Tom and our awesome tour manager Ben. We started our tour in Paris, then worked our way down to the french riviera, over into italy staying in both rome and florence, we then caught a ferry to corfu where we spent three days before heading to venice, we then drove to vienna, then to prague, over to munich, we had a night in austrian tyrol and a night in the Rhine valley at grandma's house before heading to switzerland, then we finished our tour with two nights in Amsterdam, or amsterdamage as Ben like to call it, before heading back to London. Bit of a hectic schedule, but we managed to fit in lots of sightseeing, eating and drinking and a little bit of sleep as well. Here are some of the 1,300 photos I took, kind of hard to narrow it down but I did manage to include some with me in them!!!!!! haha
miss you all lots and lots

Dublin

Quick getaway to Dublin this weekend. Emma and I headed off bright and early on saturday morning from Gatwick, and within an hour we were exploring the cobbled streets of Irelands capital. We saw a ridiculous amount of sights considering we were only there for 24hours - dublin castle, trinity college, the guinness factory, throughout the old and new areas of the city. Had a great weekend away, and it came at the perfect time because the next few weeks of work are going to be hectic!!

Guinness factory

View from the Guinness factory - which I enjoyed more than the drink itself

River Liffey that runs though the centre of Dublin

The Temple Bar - a big deal in Dublin
